Are You Confused? Earbuds Vs Headphones Which Is Best For Gym.
Earbuds Vs Headphones For Gym
So you’re looking at earbuds or headphones for gym. You’ve done your research and found out that earbuds can be quite bulky, are more prone to fall out, and are not always the most comfortable accessory. But do you really want to pay that much? If you’re like me you use headphones for gym all the time. To some, the gym is their only activity of life.
For this reason, I was very interested to see how the two headphone products measured up. After all, I had read reviews that were favorable but not negative. So I took them for a test run to see how they worked. I also had a few friends that used headphones for gym and they gave me their opinions. My goal was to see if the audio quality was worth the extra money. This is what I found out.
I’m not going to lie to you, earbuds or headphones for gym are hard to decipher at times. I’ll give it away. I needed a way to listen to my workout records without my mind from diverting to the game or thinking about my next goal. I couldn’t afford to have poor audio quality during my workouts.
The earbuds worked great with my ears leaving all of the background noise behind. There was no sense of surround sound like there could have been with the larger earpiece headphones. So I guess you could call them earbuds but I prefer the audio quality of the bigger earpiece headphones.
I did notice that I lost a little bit of bass when wearing the bigger headphone. But that’s to be expected, especially if you’re used to wearing headphones while working out. It’s just the nature of the beast when you’re wearing headphones for a long period of time. The earbud headphones definitely kept out more of the background noise and allowed me to focus on the actual exercise.
Batteries in earphones are the next big discussion. I prefer the battery life of my Nike earphones. I can easily walk a few blocks and charge my earphones. For gym activities I prefer the directions of the earphones. Having an inline battery makes gym activities a lot easier since you won’t have to waste time changing batteries.
So which is better – Batteries or Earbuds? That’s a good question and the answer is both. You need to consider the noise cancellation and the sound quality of your workout before deciding which is right for you. If you’re a serious gym enthusiast, then I would say go with earbuds.
But if you’re just looking for something to listen to while working out, the Nike earphones or the cheaper wired earbuds are good enough. And if you want to cut down on some expense but still get the same results, then the wireless earbuds are also a good option. Wireless earbuds can easily be found at any local store or online. You might need to do some research though to find the best ones.
Headphones with noise cancellation are more expensive, but the audio quality is top notch. Wearing headphones can definitely affect your workout so it’s important that you get the right ones. However, if you’re on a budget, headphones can also provide great audio quality and can be considered as earbuds or headphones. The only thing you need to look out for when buying headphones is that you get a good one.
Earbuds vs headphones for gym can be easily decided based on price. There are plenty of affordable earbuds that can be considered as headphones. However, those with great audio quality are not too difficult to find. Also, gym headphones are usually small so they can be packed in a gym bag.
Earbud headphones or earphones for gym are also decided by the sound quality. In fact, some earbuds are designed specifically to fit over the ears, which means no wires needed. This type of earphone does not use active noise cancellation but has a special noise cancelling system inside the earpiece. You need to ensure that the earpiece you’re going to purchase has this system. Some earphones use active noise cancellation but require you to insert a wire into the ear canal to use them.
As you can see, it’s pretty easy to determine which one is better. If you want the best kind of sound quality and don’t mind the hassle of wires, you should definitely get earbuds. On the other hand, if you want headphones that don’t need extra wires and don’t have any noticeable noise cancellation, then the earphone with passive noise cancellation is the perfect choice. So, which do you think is the better option for gym headphones? Which do you think will be more comfortable and which one do you think is more effective at workout training?
